What Changed in the Aurora Update
The Aurora Event Update arrived on June 20, 2026. It expands the weather and nighttime defense systems instead of replacing the basic loop of buying seeds, growing crops, selling produce, and protecting the garden after dark.
| Addition | Type | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Venom Spitter | Mythic seed | A new defensive plant sold through the Seed Shop. |
| Bear | Mythic pet | A map-spawn pet that tackles players who enter your garden. |
| Aurora | Weather and mutation | A new weather effect that can apply the Aurora mutation to crops. |
| Megaphone | Gear | A social gear item aimed at nearby players. |
| Player Magnet | Gear | A utility item that pulls other players toward the user. |
| Double or Nothing | Selling option | A high-risk alternative to taking the normal crop payout. |
| Anti-cheat update | System change | Patch notes list anti-cheat coverage across all servers. |
How the Aurora Weather Works
Aurora weather can apply the Aurora mutation to random crops. Keep mature fruit in the garden before the event begins so the weather has useful targets, then inspect affected crops before harvesting. The visual cue is a cyan cloud layer with a soft blue and pink glow.
Current community references disagree about the Aurora value multiplier and whether the event is strictly night-only. This guide therefore does not publish a fixed multiplier or schedule. Use the live selling screen for the current value and the weather database for verified event details.
New Defensive Options
Venom Spitter
Venom Spitter is a Mythic seed listed for 30,000,000 Sheckles. It is designed as a defensive crop, so it is most relevant to established farms that already have enough capital for normal planting. Compare its current entry in the crop database before spending.
Bear
Bear is a Mythic map-spawn pet listed for 5,000,000 Sheckles. Its ability tackles, pins, and throws intruders away, making it a direct garden-defense pet. See the pet database for the current ability and obtainment note.
Gear and Shop Changes
The patch added Megaphone and Player Magnet gear. Paid Pet Teleporters were also announced, but their prices and availability changed quickly across same-day reports. Check the live shop instead of treating an archived price as permanent.
Review stable farming and defensive purchases in the gear buying guide. New does not automatically mean essential, especially when a purchase would consume your seed budget.
Aurora Event Preparation Checklist
- Fill the plot and leave mature fruit available before weather begins.
- Keep valuable plants together so growth gear covers useful targets.
- Inspect fruit for the Aurora tag before harvesting.
- Protect high-value mutated fruit at night and harvest it before leaving.
- Take the normal sale unless you deliberately accept the Double or Nothing risk.
