The Short Answer
Pet Hunt Lures are planned or listed as Robux Shop items that queue the player into a private arena for a wild pet of the matching rarity. The current description says 5-8 players are needed to start, and if not enough players queue in time, the lure is refunded.
Pet Server Teleporters were also Robux-exclusive items, but current records say they were removed shortly after release. That makes both systems limited-time enough that you should verify the live shop before spending.
Lures Versus Teleporters
Pet Hunt Lures
Queue you for a private arena that needs 5-8 players. The lure should be refunded if the queue does not fill in time.
Pet Server Teleporters
Previously teleported the player to a server with a wild pet of the selected rarity ready to tame, and were consumed only if the pet was present.
The key difference is control. A teleporter was a direct server jump. A lure is a queue-based hunt, so the number of available players matters.

Before You Spend Robux
- Confirm the exact item name in the current Robux Shop.
- Check whether the item is a lure, a teleporter, or a different pet-search item.
- Read the current price and refund language before purchase.
- Make sure you have time to complete the queue or hunt session immediately.
- Compare the target pet rarity with normal map spawns, eggs, and Guild rewards.
For non-Robux progression, start with the pet guide and current rows in the pet database.
When a Lure Might Be Worth It
- You are targeting a specific high-rarity pet and understand the current queue rules.
- The live shop confirms the item is obtainable right now.
- You have enough time to wait for a 5-8 player queue.
- You are comfortable with the Robux cost even if the hunt does not produce your ideal pet.
If you are still building basic farm income, pets from map spawns, Common Eggs, and weekly Guild rewards are safer first steps. The Guild guide explains the weekly reward path.
Red Flags and Availability Checks
- If an item no longer appears in the live shop, treat it as unavailable even if old pages list a price.
- If the current page calls the asset limited-time, do not build a long-term plan around it.
- If the queue cannot fill, rely on the current refund message, not a third-party summary.
