Grow a Garden 2 Egg Hatch Odds Guide

Eggs are one of the cleanest pet upgrade paths, but the value depends on the egg type, pet pool, and variant odds. Use this page before spending weekly Guild rewards.

The Short Answer

Common Egg is the baseline egg pool. Big Egg and Rainbow Egg use special versions of the same broad pool, while Mega Egg currently appears as unobtainable watchlist data. If you are choosing where to spend effort, prioritize steady Guild rewards before chasing the rarest variant outcomes.

The high-value pets are possible but not reliable. Raccoon, Bear, Monkey, Unicorn, and Golden Dragonfly sit at the low end of the listed odds, so an egg plan should be treated as a long-term pet path rather than a guaranteed purchase.

Common Egg Odds

Common Egg can roll standard pets, with separate Big and Huge chances attached to each pet. These tiny variant odds are why repeated weekly rewards matter more than one-off attempts.

How to Decide Whether to Hatch Now

  1. Check whether the egg is currently obtainable or only listed as database/watchlist content.
  2. Compare the target pet with normal map spawns in the pet database.
  3. Use Guild rewards as the main free path before paying for shortcut systems.
  4. Do not plan around Mega Egg until it is actually obtainable in normal play.

The Guild guide covers weekly reward flow, while the pet guide compares eggs with map spawns and gifts.

Common Mistakes

  • Treating unobtainable eggs as live rewards.
  • Expecting a rare pet from a single hatch.
  • Ignoring the difference between base pet odds and Big or Huge variant odds.
  • Spending Robux before checking whether a normal Guild reward path is enough.
